What’s your favourite blog and why?

I saw Salt tonight. And throughout the movie I kept wondering who she was. Who is the good guy in this movie? With twist after twist, at one point I wasn’t sure who could be trusted. And then the movie threw another surprise at me.

I love action movies. The storyline, the stuntwork, the explosions - there were plenty of them in Salt. But Salt is more than just another action movie. The story was entertaining and complex, but it doesn’t require a lot of thinking.

Angelina Jolie was great in this movie and I loved Liev Schreiber in his small but important role.

What I like about this movie is that it’s original, compared to other action movies that have been released recently. It doesn’t try to be a great, fast-paced action movie with loads of special effects. In fact, I’m pretty sure they didn’t use too much CGI in this one. It’s a nice change.

So if you’re looking for a film that can keep you on the edge of your seat for 1.5 hours, watch Salt. You won’t regret it.

I hadn’t planned to, but I watched Inception yesterday and I have to say it is an amazing film. I never understood why people would watch the same movie at the cinema several times, but this movie really needs to be watched more than once to understand it. It’s such a complex film—you think you ‘get’ it and in the next scene you’re confused and you question yourself. And this happens over and over until YOU forget what’s real and what isn’t. So please remember that right now you’re NOT dreaming. You’re actually reading this (but hey, why are you reading this while you SHOULD be watching Inception?)… Or perhaps you ARE dreaming and… Okay, I’ll stop. Just go watch it and see for yourself.
